Cyrus is a 7 year old crossbred gelding standing at 16.2 hands. He is 50% Friesian, 25% Clyde, and 25% Thoroughbred. This handsome horse is truly something special and we will all be sad to see him go. Cyrus is extremely intelligent, and he is one of the easiest horses we’ve had to train. His type of brain is far and few and his gentle safe demeanor makes him fun for any level of rider.
On the trail, Cyrus has many miles under his belt. He’s always steady and reliable. He will happily walk on the buckle in the front or back of the pack. He loves water, and he will bravely lead the younger ones through streams or into the river. This boy loves going out, and he enjoys seeing the sights with his person. This brave horse will jump any fallen logs or fence you point him at. He would make an incredible fox hunter or cross country horse.
In the ring, Cyrus is educated and an easy ride. He has three comfortable floaty gaits and goes on the bit nicely. He will lower his head when asked and carries himself well. He is a phenomenal dressage prospect. Cyrus has great transitions, and he will pick up the canter from a walk.
Cyrus is adjustable and will lengthen and shorten his stride when asked. This athletic guy has been jumping phenomenally and always tucks his knees nicely over jumps. We can always rely on him to get his rider to the other side safely. He’s recently been doing small courses, and always keeps the same rhythm without getting heavy or hot. He enjoys having a job, and he loves to jump.
In the barn, Cyrus is quiet and respectful. He has no bad stall habits. He will stand to be groomed and tacked, and lowers his head for the bridle. This sweet boy always has the same easygoing personality, and he enjoys attention. He gets along with everyone and is easy to work around. He picks up his feet nicely, and is a dream for the farrier. He was full body clipped and stood like a statue. He can be turned out with mares and geldings and never causes trouble. We love having this guy in the barn.
Cyrus is UTD with farrier, deworming, shots, coggins, and the dentist. He is available to purchase at $23k.
