Frankie is a 5 year old Percheron/Friesian gelding standing 16.1 hands high. There is not a safer, more reliable horse in the barn. The children have ridden this guy all through town, out to get lunch, and everywhere in between. Frankie is safe around heavy traffic, crowds of people, and does not have a spooky bone in his body. Both in and out of the arena, Frankie is steady, easygoing, and aims to please. Whether you are looking for a new partner to hit the dressage ring with, or a fun and trustworthy mount to trail ride and explore with, Frankie will not disappoint.
In the ring, Frankie is point and shoot. He is learning how to properly carry himself and how to work on the bit. At his age he is ready to begin working in a heavier training program and is ready to be finished your way. He is gentle and sweet enough to tote the children around, yet has enough movement to be enjoyed by any level rider. Frankie has been started over small fences and has been as brave and honest as you could ask for. Frankie is extremely comfortable in all 3 gaits and has fantastic brakes.
Off property, Frankie has tons of miles. He is a trail master that will always take care of his rider. He will cross and play in water, go over bridges, and will bravely cross any obstacle you may come across. Frankie will lead, follow, or ride in the middle of the pack. Absolutely anyone can ride him safely and will have a great time!
In the barn, Frankie is a pleasure to have around. He will stand like a statue for grooming, tacking, and bathing. He enjoys attention and is as mannerly as they come. Frankie is happy living inside or out, and makes no difference to him if he is ridden every day or once a week. Frankie gets along well with both mares and geldings in turnout.
Frankie is the ultimate babysitter, adventure partner, and best friend. He has the best brain and attitude around, combined with balanced and smooth gaits making him not only a trustworthy family type, but also full of potential in the dressage ring or hunt field with any rider.
