Superstar is a 5 year old Connemara/Haflinger mare standing at 14.1 1/2 hands high. She is unlike any other pony we have had before! Superstar is as safe as they come both in and out of the ring, the type anyone can ride. She is an adorable jumper who is as brave and honest as they come. From leadlining the little ones, to cross country  and hunter pacing with the older kids and adults, Superstar does it all. She is a true pleasure to ride, be around and adventure with. She has an unbeatable brain and attitude with absolutely everything we have thrown her way. She is a once in a lifetime pony that will be successful in any situation or discipline. 

 

In the ring, Superstar is truly well broke with a great handle on her. She direct reins as well as neck reins, stops at the “whoa”, and listens well to leg and seat cues. She is safe and quiet enough for a lesson program, or to give pony rides to the kids. While being talented and sporty enough to jump around a decent sized course and is able to provide a safe and fun ride for any age or level rider. She has 3 smooth and balanced gaits, and will work on a loose rein or go into a frame on the bit when asked. We have started some basic dressage with her, and she is picking up on lead changes, as well as basic lateral work.  

 

Off property, Superstar is a breeze. She has tons and tons of miles on the trails and on hunter paces. She enjoys seeing new things and exploring with her rider. She loves water, and will cross any obstacle that you may come across on the trails. She will pop over logs, coupes, and other fences out in hunt country. 

 

Superstar is a blast to take cross country schooling, and will make a superb event pony! She is brave and simple, the type that is always willing and wants to help her rider. Even at her young age she shows so much promise, both with her ability and with her great brain that always aims to please. 

 

In the barn, Superstar is… well, a superstar! You would never guess she’s a mare, and has great ground manners. She is used to dogs and children running around, and is always a good girl. She stands politely to be groomed and tacked and loves attention. Superstar is content living inside or out, and goes out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings. 

 

It’s not every day we can offer such a truly special pony. Her video should speak for itself, fireworks, kids, dogs, tarps, you name it and Superstar handles it like a pro. She is like a fine wine that will only continue to get better with age. You will have a hard time finding another pony that is as tolerant and good brained as this one. She is as close to fearless as they come, and is one of the most sensible young horses in the barn.
