"Zeb” - SOLD

15.2 hands : 3 year old : Dutch Harness : Gelding

Zeb is a 3 year old Dutch Harness gelding currently standing 15.2 hands and growing. This guy is super well bred sired by Hermanus. Zeb is the whole package. His positive attitude, work ethic, and willingness to please make him a trainer's dream. Zeb loves doing different things that spark his curiosity and feed his interests both in the arena and out in the woods. We have never worked him hard, but we have shown him a ton of different situations. We believe this can help them get a well rounded foundation, so they can go into any discipline with a positive attitude and eager personality.  Zeb has the potential to move up the levels in dressage, jumping, eventing or be someone's best friend at home in the barn after work.

In the ring, Zeb is always looking to please. He is happy to move forward, but he also has great brakes, listens to voice commands, and goes off of your seat. Zeb has three very comfortable and expressive gaits. He is extra fancy and always catches your eye. He is not complicated to put in a frame or move off your leg. We have shown him a crossrail a number of times for an introduction. He is brave, natural, and full of potential. Zeb could end up in any discipline.

Off the property, Zeb is a good boy. He is used to being trailered to the county or state park for a trail ride. He will go where you point him. He's been in the river and lake, across the streams and ditches, and over the logs and rocks. Zeb will be happy alone or at the front, middle, or back of a group.

In the barn, Zeb will stall as quiet as a church mouse.  He stands on the crossties and enjoy getting attention. He will go out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings without issues.

Under harness, we have driven him for about 30 days back in the spring. He was very uncomplicated and simple. He picked it up the first day. We have not driven him since then as almost none of our Dutch Harness horses are bought up by carriage drivers. The demand for them as dressage, jumper, and eventers is much bigger.

To summarize this little gelding, he is the real deal. He has all the looks, brains, athleticism, and movement you could ask for. We raised him, and we know how few and far in between there are like him. Come see for yourself.
